Yep- the music did that to me too. I'm sure it was used in some classic horror film like the Omen or something <img src="/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" />...probably not the best choice- switch the sound off!

I think the Mayan calendar pertains to the Mayan culture, or the geographic location, something closer to home for them, rather than the whole world. Maybe there will be an earthquake or something that destroys the Mayan ruins, and by 2012 there will be no physical trace <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />, besides what is in the museums and history books.

I thought I would reply to myself. I posted this because the other night I went to sleep and the only thing that went through my head All Night Long was stuff about the Mayans and 2012, and this distinctly came to me during all that tossing and turning. That the calendar pertained to Them. This was not on a night when I had been on the forum, and it really surprised me. I do feel very strongly that something is afoot on or about 2012, I just can't figure out what! <img src="/images/graemlins/beamedup.gif" alt="" />

There is lots of stuff on the net re 2012. I don't know what will happen, but I do believe the Earth is going through big changes & we'll have to change to if we want to stay on board! If it is about Them I do wonder what it could be as the Mayan culture isn't there any more, just their legacy.
I prefer to take the optimistic view that this is about ending our 'illusion of seperateness' & humanity will change & become peaceful & more loving- well I can't see the point of buying into doomsday style scenarios!

Drinking water worldwide? Living in Wales I think we will be the last to run out- lots of rain here- but I've heard stories that wars will be fought over water in future. I do hope we learn to co-operate as a species one day!
