Anyone fancy a little game of alphabets using anything connected with Japan or Japanese culture? One person starts with something with the letter A; next person does something to do with japan or japanese culture, food, etc., beginning with B and so on.

Here's an A <img src="/images/graemlins/beamedup.gif" alt="" />

ARARE (a type of seaweed eaten in japanese cooking)

This is a fun idea, but I also have a suggestion.
Has anyone here heard of the game "shiritori?" It's a Japanese word game in which one person says a word and the next player must say another that starts with the ending syllable of the previous word.

Example: neko->kodo->dojo, etc.

You lose if you say a word that ends on 'n' (i.e. pan) because ending with that means you would have to start with it and no vowel following it (which is impossible in Japanese).

Just an idea. ^_^

(Not so much a culture, but it's a strong subculture that has influenced children in many parts of the world via its product lines.)
