It drives me crazy when people say this to me! My country has a population of four million (give or take a few hundred thousand). There are 5,000 children in care here. Now, obviously it wasn't different for their parents - they wouldn't be in care otherwise.
And children who are murdered are more likely to be killed by a parent than anyone else; obviously in those cases the parents didn't rate their kids very highly. So again, it wasn't different when they had their own children.
I wish bingo-ers wouldn't use this line on me. It's so plainly not true!

OMG!!! I hate this line too.I canty tell yuou haow many times I have heard this from people.

Yep spot on waterlilly. That was so tragic about that woman drowning her kids.She should never have had them obviousley but why did she not realise this to begin with?
