Arachnophobia (from what I remember it was pretty funny) and Gremlins was amusing too. My hubby loves the microwave scene.

OH! So hard to choose! I agree with all of you! All of those movies made me laugh my behind off (well, except the first Nightmare - too busy drooling over Johnny Depp and the very last Nightmare - New Nightmare - which was actually very good). I also found all of the Critters movies hilarious too. I find a lot of the low budget slasher flicks funny though. My boyfriend and I go out of our way to find new ones at the video store to snicker at. We're kinda sick like that.

Since AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON was called a: "giggle and gore movie" in the reviews I guess that would be my first pick. Mostly I find gorey stuff just--well-- gorey and not remotely entertaining.

I was terrified of a movie called The Tingler w/ Vincent Price when I was a kid. Just saw it again recently and it was so funny. The original of The Blob is worth a laugh too.

Oh! I caught The Blob (original version) on TV a while back. It was certainly worth a laugh. Mind you the version of The Blob with Kevin Dillon was laugh-worthy too.

hhhmmm....to name a few, I'd probably have to say:

'Attack of the Killer Tomatoes'

The 'Evil Dead' movies and the Chucky movies(even tho they're gross, they are so campy that I love them)

A movie I saw many years ago called 'SSSSSSS' - not sure if it was a made-for-tv movie or an actual screen release

'Snakes on a Plane' (keeping in the same reptilian vein as 'SSSSSSS'

The 'Scary Movie' series...those are too funny!

And a hilarious movie that was released as a horror back in the early 70's called 'Night of the Lepus' about mutant killer bunnies. (Since I'm a rabbit lover I find this one particularly hilarious.)

Both of those terrified me when I was a kid - I remember them from "Friday night/ Horror night" on TBS (back before it was a National channel). My mom about killed me when she found my "slime" (remember that stuff?) in the freezer because I was scared it was going to est me, LOL!

I loved (and still do) all of the "Abbott and Costello meets..." movies. Those are lots of fun!

I think of the title but it's an old black and white one with pods and people/aliens hatching from them. Body Snatchers? I thought it was hilarious.

Oh man, there are so many good ones.

Dead and Breakfast
Attack of the Killer Tomatoes
Killer Clowns From Outerspace

There's one with a giant bunny that's like Killer Tomatoes, but I can't remember the name. It scared me when I was a kid, though I'm sure now, I'd find it hilarious.

I'm gonna go with "The Lost Boys" on this one. Oh, wait...did you say funny? 'Cause "TLB" is funn...and ROCKS!

If and when they make the sequel, I hope that it is funny, too. Just not in the unintentional sucky way.

Does anybody remember a movie called "Critters"?

They were these little fluffballs with lots and lots of teeth, but it was so funny just watching things that reminded me of tribbles from Star Trek bouncing up on people and killing them. (Sad sense of humor, sorry.)

Always made me think of the killer bunny in "Monty Python"...

"Critters!" *Sigh* The memories...

They always reminded me of evil Porcupines. I adored the movies when I was younger, though.

Oh, and "Killer Klowns from Outer Space!" Talk about cuddly!

Definitely Killer Clowns from Outer Space is the funniest horror I've seen!! I'm also a big fan of "Alien", hmm actually the sequels were pretty entertaining too.

Although the original "The Shining" wasn't supposed to be funny, I laughed through most of it. Shelley Duvall was so unbelievable and Jack was simply comical. crazy

The 1975 Musical/Horror Movie - "Rocky Horror Picture Show"
Audiences went to the movie dressed up as characters and often ran on stage and acted out parts of the movie. They ran the movie over and over every year for years. It was a scream!

Just in case you don't wanna read the article - my top 5 are Elvira: Mistress of the Dark, Death Becomes Her, Beetlejuice, Shaun of the Dead and Braindead/Dead Alive..

Oh, and Bad Taste and Black Sheep are both pretty funny too!

I thought Beetlejuice was funny, but my all time favorite funny "Horror" movie, although it wasn't the least bit scary, was Young Frankenstein with Gene wilder. I've seen it so many times I know the dialog better than the actors, and there are so many great funny lines in it, to quote.

What made it particularly funny too me was that they were seriously trying to make a horror flick. It was just so ridiculous.
