We were making our rounds to all the yard sales and we stopped at one that had a pile of crochet books which I bought, then she had this basket full of sewing things and I don't sew much so I just looked through it and I saw this sort of silver gauge thing, she said aw you can have it for a quarter. When we got home I saw writing on the back and I thought ok it probably says made in china but it said "pelouze scale co., chicago, pat appl for 94" I thought that it was 1994 turns out I saw a picture on the web and it is a rare gauge scale (said it was in Gay Anns vintage needlework book) and the pat is for 1894!!!!! A collectible for a quarter, lucky me.
