I think I had a crush on Batman when I was about three, but by the time I was six, it was obvious that the criminals were much more interesting and had better outfits.

I used to watch reruns in the 80s with my older brother thinking it was the best thing since peanut butter on toast...I alwasy knew it was time for batman and we had 2 shows back to back.
I see it now on TV land and crack up at all the 'high tech' stunts and whatnot

Oh, I thought Adam West was extremely handsome! And he had a wonderful voice (hey I'm the music person here.)

Of course, compared to today's costumes and bulked up superheros he's not the "beefcake" - but back then he was quite debonaire.

I loved watching it as a child - for the superhero aspect, and then later as a teen for the "tongue in cheek" aspect. They really did make fun of quite a lot of political and world issues with that show back then. It was kind of a "Alice in Wonderland" for TV - except maybe not quite as intelligent. But it was fun!

Ooooooh! I can relate to that one! Why Is that....!?

I was put off Robin the Boy Wonder, because although he seemed nearer my age (and thus logically, more fanciable! ) He always looked like he wore lip gloss.... At my tender age, it just didn't look right.... *bleah!!*

Well I think he was hot back in the day. Im glad some of you share my opinion for those who dont - thats okay too. I must say when I saw him on the commercial promoting his appearance on Living in TV Land I was surprised that he still looks pretty good for his age I guess Ill find out how he manages to keep up his physique on Wednesday night. I hope you all can tune in too

So, one night in college, a bunch of us are sitting up, talking about stuff we were into when we were kids and Batman came up. Most of us in the room had watched it when were in pre-school or early kindergarten.

Suddenly one girl bursts out "And what was up with Batman's bulge, huh? Didn't that just freak you out?!"

Sodas shot out of people's noses! We just couldn't stop laughing after that one...

Ah, the bulge.... Amazing how the eyes are drawn....!! In the UK, this has become known as 'The Lunchbox' and found common usage after a particularly well-endowed athlete, Linford Christie, did the 100-meter dash. All eyes were on him. So to speak.....!!

It's also known, again in the UK, as 'Meat and two veg.'

Bon appetit.
