Is it "A Warm Place" by Nine Inch Nails?
The few songs that I can now recollect from the film thanks to Michelle's NIN guess are those 2 by NIN and Patsy Cline and Bob Dylan.

Indeed it was 'Waiting for the Miracle' by Leonard Cohen. A great song to kickstart a great film.
I didn't know that Trent Reznor assisted on the soundtrack, it's easily one of my favourites.

I love Leonard Cohen, though for some reason everytime I think of him the only song that comes to mind is Famous Blue Raincoat (don't know why).
