If it's still Somewhere in Time...

is it Rachmaninoff: Variations on a Theme by Paganini?

For a movie, what about "True Romance", I don't know if it's the theme song, but the song at the end?

KarynJ you stumped us all for a while there. I thought it was Rachmaninoff but really wasn't sure and didn't know the name of the tune--thanks for your knowledge LostLoveFriend and KarynJ for picking a great movie and a beautiful theme song.

Karyn I have a link for you that you might find interesting Somewhere in Time--Lyrics, Music, and More . Any one who likes Somewhere in Time or wants to know more about it and its music might be interested in this page as well. A friend emailed it to me the other day, it also contains some of the lyrics to the theme which would appeal to any one who has experienced lost love. This page also mentions a sequel called Memoirs for Elise, if I recall correctly--has any one seen this? If so, is it good?

All of you here at the forum have opened my eyes to movies and theme songs that I had never heard of or seen, so please keep em commin'.

[color:"purple"] True Romance --the last song was "Two Hearts" by Chris Isaak. Great song.

My movie is [color:"purple"] Play Misty For Me starring Clint Eastwood.

"Misty"?
(That would make sense, but then this could be a trick question! <img src="/images/graemlins/tongue2.gif" alt="" />)

Apocalypse Now starring Martin Sheen and (heck, everybody else) but especially Marlon Brando

Nope, not "Misty" Misty actually isn't in the title at all and you're gonna stump me too with Apocalypse Now--I haven't seen the movie in a couple years.

I'll Leave Play Misty For Me up for grabs if any one wants to go for that one and Apocalypse Now.

Just thought I'd take one quick guess at Apocalypse Now while I'm here--is it "War?"

Nope- I guess we're gonna stump each other!

I'll give a hint; it's by The Doors.

[color:"red"]Greetings from the new Sci-Fi/Fantasy Movies Editor!

Now, with that said, lol, I'm gonna try my hand at "Misty". Isn't the theme song to that movie "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face"?

I've never seen it, but my dad raved and still raves about it.
