I liked your article on Ginger! I practically lived on the stuff when I was pregnant with my first. When I was pregnant with my second ginger SNAPS became my staple <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

I like the idea of steeping a couple of slices in hot water. I tried some of the dried and candied ginger and that was pretty yummy, but I want something without all the sugar <img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> and the steeped ginger sounds PERFECT!

You can also try just sucking on a piece of ginger by itself, if you like the taste. I've found that if you *chew* a piece of ginger, it's too spicy for most people, but if you just suck on a nice thin piece, it's a lovely flavor. (Think the ultra-thin slices they serve with sushi. Maybe use a potatoe peeler. <img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> )

But yes, I know many people for whom ginger tea has been a life-saver for morning sickness.

What I found is that there is no substitute for fresh either. My husband actually turned me on to buying fresh and storing it a ziploc in the freezer and then just grating what I needed. What a difference.
