BellaOnline Forums Computers PHP new to php

I'm a sculpture and my experience with web pages is with html and some java script. I decided to build a web page for my students. I have a public version and I have a paid section. I decided to go with a php format for the paid version. I bought two books and I understand them (will miracles never cease?) I am having problems with my apache server that I downloaded. The book suggested that I down load -1.3.31 but there was a newer stable one so I down loaded that one. I see not exe file to click on to get it to install and I'm suppose to be seeing an installation wizard but I haven't seen that one yet either????? If there was a read me file I'd probably be okay but I don't see that either.
Did I down load the wrong thing? I down loaded httpd-2.0.55-win32-src and then downloaded the servic pack they told me too. What am I missing?

Yeah! I found the right one and have it running smoothly. But don't go away because I'm sure I'll be back tomorrow with a whole list of Newbie questions.....urgh....I hate it when I don't know what I'm doing!
