There are many places that are considered sacred and carry special energies, from Machu Picchu in Peru, to the Pyramids of Egypt. These places all carry their own lore and legend, and are filled with mystery. What sacred sites have you visited? If you could journey to any sacred site, which one would it be?

I would love to visit Machu Picchu. But of course, Wales and Ireland hold the greatest attraction of all for me, and I know I would enjoy many great adventures there!

I enjoy visiting ancient sites & we are blessed with plenty. My favourite so far though is a natural one. I spent a magical day last year at the Giant's Causeway on the Northern Irish coast. Photographs don't do that bit of coastline justice & of course there is a wonderful bit of folklore attached to those stones. Helped to have my lovely Northern Irish friend with me & the ravens flying overhead.

How wonderful Lauren! We have a place not too far from here called Idyllwild. It's not famous, by any means, but when I go there I feel surrounded by magic. The sound of the wind blowing through the tall tall pines relaxes me so that every care and worry just fades away. The people are kind, and it's so much fun to browse through the shops. Once you get out of town a bit into the woods, who knows what animal you may run into. Last time we saw a bluebird do the most amazing dance. Of course, it was actually just after a cookie my daughter dropped <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
