A Judge has set a 200,000 bond for Andrea Yates,
to leave jail and go to a Mental Hospital.
She was convicted of Capital Murder charges, for
drowning her 5 children.

Yates', retrial has been set for March 20.
A Forensic Psychriatrist, based his scientific
testimony from an episode he saw from "Law and Order."

Thus, aiding in her conviction of Capital Murder charges.

Did anybody get a glimpse of Andrea leaving prison
today?

She's on her way to the Mental Hospital, awaiting trial.
Her lawyers have said, that she will plead insanity.

All I can say is, "It's just sad." It really is.
At least to me.

Hello Pink,

To answer your question, Rusty did appear at her
recent court appearance.

He had stated, that he would stand by her.
So, I guess he will honor his word.

Rumor has it, that he is dating. I can't confirm this.

It's reported, that he still is living in his
Mediterranean luxury style apartment complex.
It has a fishing pond, a white sand beach,
a cabana and gym. It rents for 1,000 a month.

You know he moved into this shortly after the
death of the kids and Andrea's arrest.

Now, when the murders took place & they were a family,
he had them living in a converted like greyhound bus.
The children slept in the luggage department.

And, Rusty is a NASA employee.

He put all this misfortune on the oversight of the
Andrea's doctors. The doctors in his words just didn't
give her the proper care.

My question still today is, "If you knew she was this
mentally ill, why would you leave her with the kids?"

But, that's a fruitless and pointless question.
You can't turn back the hands on the clock now.

Well, that's what I know about Rusty.

Talk with ya later.

Yates Trial date is set for March 20, 2006.

However, Yate's attorney is on his way to court
for a hearing this Friday.

He has filed 30 pretrial motions & one of them is
requesting, that No photographs of her dead children
are shown to the Jurors.

There is a picture of Yates' 7 year old son floating
face down in the bathtub, which is not going to sit
well with the Jurors. I'm sure none of the pictures
of her dead children will.

Yates' attorney is following standard practice
and protocol on this procedure. A good lawyer
wouldn't want these photographs to enter into
evidence.

Andrea is facing 2 Capital Murder Charges.
And has entered a plea of Insanity.

If you have been looking at the news, well things
aren't looking too good for Andrea Yates.

On Friday, Yates rejected a plea deal of 35 years.
So, the March retrial is still on.

Felicia Doe, formerly incarcerated with Yates,
is claiming, that she told Andrea how to beat
her case.

Doe, saids she told Yates to pretend to be
mentally ill, not to eat, "not to speak properly,"
and all the other things, which go along with mental illness.

If you recall, Yates had a paper trail of mental illness
long before she landed in jail or prison.

It's not uncommon for "jail house snitches" to come out
of the woodworks, professing things such as this.

A woman by the name of Lynette Licantino, is also
adding her two cents to the pot. She was locked up
with Yates, also. Licantino, was not available for
comment.

Overzealous prosecutors, often use "Snitches" to lie.
Snitches, have sent many an innocent person to prison
and landed many an innocent person on "deathrow."

Just read this article, I wrote several months ago.
The numbers of wrongfully convicted, due to jailhouse
snitches and overzealous prosecutors are amazing.

Since, Andrea's last trial there has been a new
diagnosis -- PostPartum Psychosis.

It is a vast difference between postpartum depression.
Although, both are recognized as mental illnesses.

Postpartum psychosis, can convince a woman their baby
is the devil. And, this is only one of the symptoms.

You can read more on Yates' retrial.

Andrea Yates' retrial has been postphoned, due to a scheduling conflict with the Judge.

Jury selection will begin on June 22nd.
Testimony is scheduled to begin on June 26th.

And, yes good ol' trusty Rusty the exhusband got married
on Saturday. He married 41 year old Laura Arnold.
She has 2 boys, ages 21 and 9. They met at church.

Rusty and Laura, had a private ceremony.

I'm sure we all want to wish him the best of luck.
Let's give it to him.

Opening Statements began on 6/26/06.

Defense attorney George Parnham told jurors that Andrea was insane at the time she drowned her children.

He related that she was psychotic not depressed and had a history and paper trail of mental illness. Prior to the deaths Andrea had attempted suicide twice.

After the killings Andrea was seen by a doctor, she told the psychiatrist to look at the triple 6's on her head. The doctor was shocked by what he had seen.

Andrea really believed this -- she had scratched and dug so violently to remove these imaginary sixes, that her scalp was infested with sores & scabs.

She also told them to cut open her head and look at her brain. They would find the mark of the beast.

Prosecution says Yates knew what she was doing and there was physical evidence showing that the young children fought back.

Rusty Yates, the father and exhusband is attending the trial and standing by Andrea.

Catherine Crier interviewed Rusty and he is praying the jury will find that she was legally insane at the time of the murders and she will be able to return to the psychiatric hospital to receive the help she obviously needs.

If it was a male, the verdict would of probably turned out worse...insanity or not.
They dragged this case out long enough for the emotions to settle.
I feel that there should be no excuse for crimes such as these. Whether insane or not, the crime was committed. Therefore, should be held accountable. I have mixed emotions about the death penalty to begin with, but she should of received several life terms at the very least.

Insane or not, the court on some level gave justification to a crime that should never be committed by anyone.

I would love to see her drowned but she has "rights" so life in nut house will have to do.She is going to hell anyway so really it does not matter what happens to her.
