Wow, if we keep this up, we'll have such a huge reading list...and they all sound terrific. Thanks, everyone, for some great titles.
I think I'm going to go for the Grabhorn book next--it sounds exactly like what I need right now, Donna, although the Williamson book also sounds very compelling, Starmom. But the Nelson book I just finished also deals with how feelings interplay with everything we do, so Grabhorn's book would probably be a good follow-up.
Thanks for the motivational recommendation, too, Trevy--I don't think we can ever get enough motivating help. When things are going well, we feel motivated, but when things aren't so obviously positive, a book like this one can make the difference in helping us to keep going, you know?
I do the same thing you do, Starmom--alternate. I just picked up Christopher Moore's latest novel (A Dirty Job). If you like absurd stuff, his books are really funny. However, I didn't like his last two books before that (Lamb and The Stupidist Angel).
And I'll recommend that Shiloh book to my husband, Tina. He's a Civil War buff (history major in college), and it sounds like something we'd both enjoy.
