BellaOnline Forums Hobbies and Crafts Rubber Art Stamping New ideas??

I have over 80 or so rubber stamps...I love them,so cute!I do alot of letter writing/penpalling and like to decorate my letters with the rubberstamps and stickers...however with that many stamps,what else could I use them for or decorate?? Do anyone have some ideas??

I use my rubber stamps to decorate almost anything! I have stamped on tiles (from a home improvement store), candles, glass, notebooks, but mostly paper. You can make all sorts of items from paper including treat boxes, notepad holders, etc. More articles will be written in the future to feature some of these items.

There are thousands of items you can make or decorate with rubber stamps! I got started by a friend who is a home demonstrator for Close to My Heart, but I have gone wild since then!I have made sets of seasonal postcards (made with mini stamps I color in with colored pencils)to give as little gifts to my family i don't see often, it gives them a reason to correspond. I make all my birthday and anniversary, sympathy, get well, etc... cards- it is so simple. They don't need to be super fancy and best of all they can be so personalized the receiver knows you really took the time to make something extra special just for them. If you need ideas on other crafts to do with you stamps, Paper Crafts magazine has a pretty good site and newsletter they send with ideas, Michael's craft stores also has lots of free ideas for stamping.
