What I love in this forum are the great ideas that come from enterprising people. This idea is in the true spirit of ragrug-making: employing materials that are plentiful, are at the end of their natural life cycle, but still of sound quality and worthy of a new destination.
The blues in jeans are varied and make for beautiful shadings in a one-colour rug.
I would love to see some photos, and perhaps add them to my collection with permission from the author of the rug and the photographer.
