Hi, I am new to this site,. Alright this is what is going on. I got pregnant July 25 of this year. Then on September 21st i started to spot. Not very much at all ( I didn't even need a pad.) but from there on i started to bleed even more.On the 3rd day i started to pass clots. I went to the doctor and was told that i did have a miscarriage. This would be my second one. I had another miscarriage 4 years ago. I was 8 weeks ,but the baby had died at 4 weeks and 3 days. The only problems that i had was a very light cramping during the whole time i was pregnant. WEll i just found out that i am prenant again( YEAH). I am so worried. Every time i go to the bathroom i am woried i will see blood. I am going to the doctor on the 17th of November. I have the mormal signs sickness, sore breast, but i am having that same cramping feeling again. I am not sure how far along i am( i am thinking about 8 weeks) because we got pregnant right away after my miscarriage no period in between. Every once in awhile i will have a faint pink tint when i wipe but that is it. I am so scared to go to the docs. Is cramping always a sign of a miscarriage ?? [color:"red"] [/color]

Cramping is not always a sign of miscarriage-the uterus growing causes some cramps, too. Spotting also may or may not be a sign. I miscarried twice, and still had some spotting with my son--placenta previa is the most common cause and sometimes it is no problem and sometimes it does cause miscarriage.

My doctors always told me to try to relax and I know how hard that can be, but honestly there is very little you can do to avoid a miscarriage (outside of taking good care of yourself and being sensible anyway).

You need to get checked out just for peace of mind, and so they can check for other stuff like anemia, etc. I hope you're already taking your vitamins--they are good for you. And, morning sickness is usually a good sign!

Good Luck!
