Ok I am taking a cue from parthena, Dreams Editor, who hosted a rousing alphabet game in her forum.

Here is how we play. I will start this round with a word beginning with *A* that pertains to Wicca or Witchcraft. The next person posts a word beginning with *B* and so forth.

The word you post must be related to the word before it somehow....

for example... A- Athame, B- boline (both are ritual tools)

Lets get started!

Forest - a great place to commune during the equinox, especially during a Full Moon.

Omphalos.

The omphalos is a very common type of religious stone artifact/ tablet. The word omphalos means "navel" in Greek.

Wow, I'm so embarassed - I must have just seen the first page!

So it's X, right?

All I can come up with is the term "Xtian" which was supposedly thought up by wiccans or pagans that found the use of "Christ" distasteful.

I always thought that it was just internet shorthand. It came from a Christian I met on another board, but I can't remember what they cited as a source It was a while ago.

Yarrow's a good one!

The emphasis of the meaning of life is the word meaning. People have thought that the meaning of life is an impossible question, that was made a joke by the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy, they said the meaning of life was forty-two. However the word meaning could be replaced for definition, therefore when we ask, What is the meaning of life? we are really asking, What does the word life mean? The real question we should be asking is, What is the purpose of life? work htat out Then

My first one was a white-handled veggie knife that I'd never used. I decorated the handle with magical symbols.

*thinks hard*

would it be cheating if I said ... ZzzzZZZZzzz -- the sound I make when I try to meditate? hehe

Uroboros (sometimes spelled Ouroboros)
this is the symbol of the snake (or dragon) eating its tail. It symbolizes the infinite cycle of life/death/rebirth
