Please share what your favorite dish is.
Why do you enjoy it so much? Flavors? Memories?

Probably just a good plate of macaroni (any type) and sausage and meatballs on the side or some braciola too. I can eat it 24/7

Ah, just the simple Fettucini Alfredo. It's just comfort food.
And I'm hopefully going to be going thru gastric bypass before the end of the year. Which means I'll be saying bye-bye to it.

Braciole is an interesting dish. In northern Italy it oftens refer to just a chop cooked over a grill. In southern Italy it's Stuffed Beef Rolls.

Ack! I feel for you. Fettuccini Alfredo is a great dish. Perhaps after your recovery you can eat a very small portion?

I like it all but home made ravioli toasted or boiled is a particular favorite...an ancient aunt guards the recipe and we usually make 2 or so thousand at a go because it is sooo involved and time consuming...
We usually have pasta at least twice a week. There is always sauce and cooked pasta of some sort lurking in the fridge with frozen sauce of several sorts in the freezer(which explains the frozen part ...)

Perhaps after a year or more, I might be able to eat a forkfull or two. Carbs cause bad things to happen to WLS patients.
Although if I used a whole wheat pasta instead, I might be able to eat a little more... Have to wait and see I guess.
Maybe I can just drink the sauce? LOL
