are avon's products good quality?? I've never bought from them before but I have the chance and I'm just wondering if it's worth it.

Also what are some (or The Best) lotions on the market? Thanks for everyone's opinion.

I use their Skin-so-Soft oil in the summer as a moisturizer & bug repellent.

I have sensitive skin, so I only use it on my arms & legs.

They have some great-sounding new products that I'd love to try if not for my allergies to so many chemicals.

My mother has always been a big Avon user--I remember her putting their lotion on when I was a little girl.

I have bought 2 face creams and they both made my skin smoother and softer but as I had the feeling that they contained silicone or "petroleum substances" I quit them. I don't mind using any body creams or other cosmetics of them but on the face... but still this is my personal point of view . In general they are good. If your skin is not aged I would recommend to you to try Korres natural cosmetics. The more possible is that you don't know their existance but I think you should give them a try.
Their creams are so thin, with natural ingredients and they are absorbed instantly by your skin. Get in the web page to see them.

I used to use skin-so-soft, but the smell of it makes me a little bit allergic. A couple of years ago, I discovered Badger Brand Bug Balm, which not only works a zillion times better, but smells better too! It's a salve, not a spray, and you rub it into your skin. It leaves your skin soft and mosquito-free (even here in southern Louisiana!). Even I, the allergy queen, can wear it on my neck and other super-sensitive areas. They have it at natural food stores, and often at larger grocery stores. You can also buy it online, of course.

I have never actually used Avon but I have tried their products here and there. From their cosmetics line, I only like the colours they have. I don't care for their skin care line because it is overly scented.

Hello! I personally used some avon products and thought the were okay. But, nothing worth purchasing again. Then I was introduced to Mary Kay! Their product is out of this world awesome! I was a little sceptical about the price at first. I had never spent $22 on a moisturizer before..... but I loved the cosmetics and skin care sooo much... that I bought a whole basic set! I still have eyeshadows that I have been using for over a year!!! The product lasts 4EVER! So, worth the money! I actually loved the product so much that I became a consultant a few months after that first purchase! As for the lotions...we have a few different kinds, so it depends on your needs... but I love the Satin Hands Lotion for hands.... for body, we have a few different kinds and love all of them.

Sincerly,

I can't use the skin-so-soft on my sensitive skin. I've experimented with their lipsticks, eyeshadows and mascaras but I'm always drawn back to the quality of Clinique. I used Mary Kay for a while but it became too expensive although their oil free moisturizer is the best and I still use that.

Mary Kay does offer try before you buy. We also offer a 100% customer money back guarantee. If you are unhappy with anything you buy you can return it no questions asked. Usually within 30 days. Just depends on your consultant.

Am I right to say if you purchase cosmetics from let's say Target, Wal-mart or a cosmetic counter at a local department store they will not let you return products? Does anyone know?

As Mary Kay consultants, we are independent business owners and have the products readily available for you to try and purchase on the spot.

Blessings,

GastonsGirl,

When you say lotions, what type of lotion are you looking for? Body lotion?

Blessings,
Leslie
