"Rory O'Shea was Here" is well worth watching. Though the subject matter had me watching it alone, and I wasn't entirely thrilled with the prospect myself, I found it exceptional and was very sorry to see it all end.

It's about two Irish kids, both physically challenged. One has cerebral palsy and difficulty making himself understood. The other has MS, far progressed. To say much more about the story would be giving away too much.

"Rory..." is appealing on many levels and carries messages of courage, honor, love, and true friendship. If that sounds too cotton-candy, just watch the movie. It has plenty of grit and at the same time is deeply humorous (yeah, they're Dubs). The dialog is sometimes a bit one-sided, but this is used to utmost effect.

All in all, I'd say it was brilliant.
