I love it. Ami is soooooo sexy.

It is much better than the soap opera that is inked. Miami Ink gives you the stories behind the tattoos and the people. It is almost as addictive as tat's.

When we had the Bella Editor Gathering in Las Vegas in August of 2005, I got personally blown off by the guys at the Inked shop.

No one there wanted to take two minutes to talk with me, and then the manager did a reversal and told me they'd love to have an article done and that he'd have the owner call me. Did I hear a peep from them? No.

The episode I saw in early Sept on the show then had that same manager talking about how much he hated working there and how he couldn't wait to quit. I could've guessed that in early August without a tv show.

To Reggie99, they edit out the monetary involvement. I, personally, don't want half the show taken up by people talking money. Also I want to say that I have 2 tattoos, and neither are flash. I go custom or I don't go at all. I have watched both Inked and Miami Ink, and I haven't seen anyone pay on either show. It is nuts to think that paying would be good TV content. Also, there is no excitement in flash. I bet they do it, but there is no story there. The show is more about people that have a story they want to tell through their art. Not about people who decide I should get a tattoo and go pick one off the wall. Most tattoo shops I have been in do very little flash. I personally don't like flash, because I don't want to be one of 1000 people walking around with the same fairy or butterfly. It is art, and I feel that art for me is custom not cookie cutter. MIAMI INK RULES!!!!!! I LOVE THEM ALL! KAT ROCKS! Hooray for female tat artists!

On the show, they just air the tattoos with the great stories behind them. Better TV.
I'm not complaining. Hearing the stories and seeing the *divine* work has turned so many people I know on to tattoos.

I agree with LadyVipe, Kat is AMAZING! If I ever get the chance to go to Miami I definitly would have her do my tat. Did anyone see the episode of the show where the dude came in and had her tat a pic of his daughter who has Tay Sachs on his chest? It made me cry! That is by far one of the best episodes.

I was in Vegas last summer and we didn't get the chance to go to Inked but I am glad we didn't, they seem like jerks, and there is WAY too much drama.
