I have always wanted to make abraided rug. Can you tell me what kind of fabric you use and how to get started? Hope94

http://www.bellaonline.com/subjects/7276.asp There are several tutorials on rug braiding. You can use either wool or cotton fabric or any type of fabric. Some people feel that unless you use wool it is not a true braided rug, but I don't believe that <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> If you can braid it and you like it, thats what counts. I recommend starting with some scrap cotton fabric to practice the braiding with.
