Can anyone help with this? If Hurricane Dennis does not turn, we are right in the middle of the path (P'cola Beach). I have tadpoles in my fountain, which I am evacuating with me. I know how to care for them. There are numerous baby toads (1 inch big) I want to save them as well. I love frogs! I will need to keep them confined during the storm, which will last quite a few hours, and I have never saved baby toads before. I do not know what they need to eat, I assume they eat insects but we will be inside and there will not be insects flying around. I will release them when the storm is over. I will not have my computer after I leave, which will probably be Saturday night. I will catch them tomorrow and if anyone can help, Thank You. They are so cute and precious and I don't want them to die. If this one is like Ivan, I will not be back for a while and will miss everyone on the forum. <img src="/images/graemlins/heart.gif" alt="" />

I caught most of the tadpoles (they are quick!) and evacuated them with me. The two baby frogs I caught in the afternoon, they escaped through the cage wires and I tracked them down and caught them again. They are also quick. My cats did not want to evacuate, one hid and I finally released the frogs; I was afraid they would starve waiting for us to leave. On our return, the elusive tadpoles were still in the fountain, and had grown! The two baby frogs found high ground during Dennis and were hopping around in my garden. This a.m. I discovered a brand new batch of tadpoles in the fountain. <img src="/images/graemlins/heart.gif" alt="" />
