There is very much a trend among the childfree to choose pets instead. I think my parents are finally coming to terms that any grandkids I'll be "providing" will be four-legged and furry. Hooray!

I'll have to get a picture of "My Boy Joey" up also. He's the best dog I can ever imagine having, and believe me- I don't like all dogs (just like I don't like all kids!). Joey is a non-slobbering, non-licking, non-jumping, hardly barking, light-shedding, not needy, dream-come-true of a dog!

My BF had a portrait painted of him for me for Christmas. A very cool Andy Warhol-like modern portrait. It was a total surprise. I cried!

I really love the animals I have seen here so far. Animals are so spiritual and lovable and always put smiles on people's faces. Animals are incredibly wonderful, extraordinary etc. I can't imagine life without having pets around.
