just how much I loved crochet.
In the May Australian Womens'Weekly, there is a wonderful scarf to crochet (60cm wide, and 196cm long!). I fell in love with it and decided to make it for myself (but using much more interesting yarn. They used a beige mohair - I've used a wonderful varigated boucle and it's making up a treat!).
I had forgotten how soothing it is - having concentrated on Embroidery for quite a long time.
I can crochet in places where it's not possible to embroider and I've now committed to making 2 more of these scarves for friends who are providing the yarn, and one more as a brithday present for my cousin.
I'm now over halfway through the first scarf (and have memorised the 4 rows that make the pattern!) and am feeling a little dismal about actually finishing.
Oh well - 3 others to go! <img src="/images/graemlins/heart.gif" alt="" />
