I'm curious too. My definition is any type of work that involves more than 80% computer usage and requires technical training. For me, if my great Aunt Viola can do it with her two index fingers on the pc, it might not qualify, but she has turned joke emails into something spectacular. LOL!

Are Desktop Publishers people with Computer Careers? We know that Programmers and software designers are. How about greeting card makers? Most use their pcs to work...so is that a Computer Careers.

Give me some ideas, what is a Career for someone working with computers? It's ok to think outside of the box on this one. lol!

Personally,

I combine my fulltime teaching job with several "computer" careers - for one I am finishing my PhD in Technology education, focused on e-learning which is one kind of CC - I work for various companies from my home office and create online curriculum for them (all meetings, etc. are done online)....then I also teach courses online from home; design web sites, graphics and CD covers; online coaching; and online psychic readings. All done sitting here in this chair.

Great additions June! See, that's what I'm talking about. Computer careers are everywhere, but most people just think of the programmer for some reason. I would love to chat with you about your Computer Careers!
