I have a 2002 Chevy Tracker--the 4 door version. 146,000 (yes, thousand) miles on it so far and NO major work/repairs. It's a lot like a Timex, it takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'.

I don't have a car, I've only got a bicycle but I'm not a hippy* but it's still great for shopping. I've got a little basket on the front (no I'm not a girl either) which I can put all kinds of stuff in: fish, hats, mags, baseballs, rocks, anything really. I can't get my new window frames in there though. Too big. Well, I haven't got them yet, but when I do they won't fit. I know that because I've measured them. And I'm brilliant at measuring, anyone will tell you that.

*I can prove that, I'm not a liar.

I used to drive an Acura RSX, but I just traded it in on a brand spanking new 350Z three weeks ago - and I already got my first speeding ticket! I'm going to have to sell a kidney to pay my insurance. My husband has a '67 Camaro that he and his dad have rebuilt over the last couple years, and we have a Nissan Xterra that we use primarily for skiing or camping. But our main mode of transportation - at least during the work week - is le Metro bus....because the traffic is so fabulous around here...

Mother always said that even when things seem bad there's someone else who's having a worse day. Like being stung by a bee or getting a splinter or being chained to the wall in someone's sex dungeon.
