Hi all, This might seem like an insensitive question right now, but in the past few days we've seen some very aggressive efforts to treat His Holiness John Paul II, who appears to be suffering from complications of respiratory infection. He is by now a very old man. I wonder whether such interventions would be done for an ordinary person, especially one of his age? If not, should they be done for him, even though he is much loved and there may be many Church based reasons to keep him alive as long as possible? What do folks think - should the doctors do _everything_ possible to keep him alive, or should they let him go?
