Hello, I've always wanted to brew my own beer but I just don't want to make the commitment equipment & knowledge-wise). I just came across
The Beer Machine web page and I must say it intrigues me. Has anyone used the Beer Machine and if so, what kind of results did you get?

Thanks,

I've had comments from various readers on The Beer Machine-
It is a "charming bit of engineering" - assembly takes about an hour of work, including sanitization - Many users loved it so much, they decided to make the commitment and stock up on equipment & knowledge after all! Some folks from CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) like the Beer Machine a lot!
Better than Brew Sack, because Beer Machine is re-usable.

Some prefer True Brew - It is more labor intensive, but makes truly great beer. Some folks from the NYC Homebrewers Guild prefer this one. Maxim chose this, as well.

These are not gimmicks, like crock pots or fondue pots. They actually work!

I have had some comments that, if you are brewing, you might as well get the "real stuff." For about $20 more, you can have all the necessary equipment. You just add knowledge. If you go to John Palmer's http://www.howtobrew.com web site, you will start with running shoes on!

Cheers!
Carolyn

Does anybody belong to a Homebrewers Club? How often do you get together for tastings? Do you have competitions?
Who do you consider to be the Master Brewer at your club?

What's the best brew you have ever made? Do you have any great homebrew recipes to share?

I've been brewing for years and I've gotta tell you if your serious about it contact this guy-> scott1962us@yahoo.com
He sells home brew equipment on ebay (and off eBay) and will get almost anything you want at a fair price. He also is VERY willing to give advice if you're not sure what you need. Just ask and he'll help. He may have a website set up by now but I don't know what the URL is. great resource for new homebrewers as well as us 'old hands'!
