Hello Everyone out there!!!


It's been a long time, but I just returned home after a trip to Ole Miss (Mississippi) to visit my family and more extended relatives than I ever thought any one person could have. But I'm back now thank goodness!!

And... today's my Birthday!! Hurray for me.

I received only one gift for my birthday, and after I woke up from my childish pity party, I remembered that no one really had to buy me anything. And then I remembered how many gifts I'd given this year, and how many are now left sitting at the back of a shelf unappreciated.

And that got me thinking: this would be a great topic. So here's my question for the week:

What was your WORST gift giving experience? (I.E., where you were the giver of the gift)

When my roommate moved out last year, she left behind a ton of garbage and junk, and never came back to finish cleaning up. When I moved out of the apartment a month later, I had to do all that cleanup.

In with the various garbage was nearly every gift I'd given her over the year, be it birthday, Christmas or just silly stuff. She had received every gift graciously, and in several cases was really excited about it.

Am I more than happy to take her to court over the back rent she owes me? Hell, yes....!
