Hi this is my first post. Took me a while to register. I was wondering if anyone knows of where I can find free patterns for baby doll clothes. Mostly my dolls (I collect and like to dress them) are 18 - 20" dolls. I searched knitting and crochet and mostly the patterns are for fashion dolls or American Girl doll. I have an 18" Thumbelina I would like to make something for. Thank you for the help.

Welcome to the forum Burnetta - I'm glad you made it in

I am 57 and had a Tiny Tears doll. I wonder if the 18" Thumbelina is similar in size.

Is there a particular kind of outfit you are looking for?

Susan

Not really as I also have many other dolls that need baby type outfits. I am not sure on the size of Tiny Tears. Could find out on ebay though. I just thought with the Thumbelina that I would like to knit a little sweater type top and maybe bottom. Thanks for answering. Burnetta

Burnetta, how about asking for a knitting pattern for the baby doll in the knitting forum, also?

Linda - what a good idea to use preemie patterns! Thanks for sharing that idea!
