I know this is a dated question, but as I'm your new editor, I would like to start off answering some of the older questions and maybe in that way create some new ones. You don't say what size or material the pots are made from, but if they are the same size, you already have a theme going. If you are planning on keeping them inside, you will have to find a place that receives the right amount of sunlight for the plants you plan to use. Light is the first consideration when keeping plants indoors. Other important factors include the amount of humidity, room temperature, and space. It's no use having a beautiful planted arrangment that has to be moved every time you have guests or want to eat at the table. Not only is it a nuisance for the homemaker, but the plants don't like it, not one little bit! Do not underestimate the "feelings" of your plants. Not to sound like the author of the "Celestine Prophesy," but plants do have feelings, maybe not on the level of the family cat, but plants do ~know~ when they're loved (or not), and if you are going to transplant or divide a plant, the whole process will go much better if you inform the plant of your intentions a day or so beforehand. Now you know, I talk to plants...it must be some little Druidic connection in my own past, but I promise you, it does work! It's spring, dig it, baby!
