I suppose the evening, to think about everything that has happened. Studies prove that if you spend time thinking about events at the end of the day, you are far more likely to remember them, it sort of cements them in your brain

Whenever I'm on the train. Or walking. Or in the shower. Time of day doesn't really matter for me, I guess. But then, the deepest most successful meditation happened for me when I was up one night one day -- the following morning. I nearly freaking came up with the way the world works.

My favorite time is 8pm in the evening - when I begin the world peace meditation. I first om in while turning in a circle to face all directions on the planet.

By the way, here in The Netherlands we live 1 hour east of mean Greenwich time - 6 hours later than EST in America.

Here is an article I posted on my World Peace Meditation http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art13338.asp

My favorite time of day to meditate is the early mornings. I find that it helps me to enter my day consciously and peacefully (as opposed to hitting the snooze button one last time, rushing into the shower, and out the door to work with one shoe on ...) My meditation practice takes different 'forms'...I love to walk. At 6:30 a.m. the neighborhood is still peaceful and quiet, with just the birds providing a lovely melody to my thoughts. As my body moves, and I appreciate all of nature, my mind relaxes. Sometimes I sit with a cup of coffee and a journal, facing eastward looking out my window, watching the sun rise. Wow..It's just my favorite time of day! I'm rested, all my family are still in bed, and there'such a sense of serentity. MOST days, it's hard to break the reverie and get ready for work!

~~~ wonders if she can make a living as a professional meditator? ~~~
Janey - thanks for joining in!
You're right! Morning is such a peaceful time and I just see with your appreciations for nature that you are setting the tone for a great day!
