Yes, Janet, that is Goldman's Chakra Chants (th first one). It's the only one I have from him (so far ). He really knows his stuff; it seems so well researched. I can just imagine how his other CDs are (well, I don't have to JUST imagine, I can read your article again ). I think there is one on the Tara Mantra that seems interesting too.

I bought the Chakra Chants CD a long time ago, and never actually used it for meditation--just as background music. I may add it at the end of my morning practice (still doing the 40 day Ganapati mantra--I'm on day 7). I played it today while doing dishes and paying bills--very 'balancing'.

I'm glad you're having a restful weekend--you sure have it coming to you. My weekend is not quite so restful, but it's great to be home with the family.

BTW, great idea on the book club--(watch out Oprah!)--I requested the Myss book through my library, I just got word that it is ready for me. I look forward to checking it out.

Take care.

Correct again, Michael! That's 4 points for you now.

Wow--40 days for a mantra...you're dedicated!

It was beautiful weekend, especially yesterday. Absolutely perfect weather--clear blue sky, crisp temperature, leaves turning...ahhhh. We went out for Chinese, visited my Dad in the hospital, and dis some shopping. Were you able to get a modicum of rest or relaxation?

Thanks for sharing your thoughts about the book club! My husband said the same thing as you ("watch out Oprah"). LOL! I'm tempted to post random thoughts and questions about Invisible Acts of Power, but I think that maybe it may be best for me to start tossing ideas out from the beginning for those just getting started... I'm so excited that you got the book and will be participating! :music:

Ahhh... listening to both of your weekend descriptions has been relaxing enough.

Not exactly 'restful', but I did have some fun getting out in the back yard with the little guy this weekend. Fall is my favorite time of year, and we've been having beautiful crisp weather here in Colorado as well. Can't compare to the leaves turning in PA, I'm sure (I'm originally from upstate NY, so I remember those colors!) but I've grown to apreciate the golden hues here in CO.

Thank you both for the reminders to pay attention. Enjoy!

You know, Michael, of all the 50 states...it's Colorado I want to visit the most! I have not traveled much at all in my life...but would love to some day! PA is certainly beautiful, and NY and New England get some of the same brilliant colors for sure, I bet. Fall is my absolute favorite season, too! I bet your son just loves those fallen leaves... My son was piling them on the porch today, throwing them in the air and yelling "surprise!" LOL

Good to hear your weekend went well, too, Morigaine. And, you are correct! That's 1 point for you!

Michael: 4 Points
Morigaine: 1 Point
