BellaOnline Forums TV and Movies Comedy Movies Surviving Christmas (Ben Affleck)

Has anyone else seen the 'Surviving Christmas' movie? I saw it before it was released, but didn't have time to write a review. I liked the movie alot. So did my sister. Ben Affleck really isn't a comedic actor, but James Gandolfini and Catherine O'Hara were hilarious. What did everyone else think??

I think it must have been a pretty bad movie to be in theaters only a few weeks and then hitting DVD practically the same month! <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I haven't seen the movie yet either. I am begining to think that either critics don't like the same movies I do or they are trying to give certain actors a hard time. They didn't like Ben Affleck in Jersey Girl either. I loved it. I even put it on my Christmas list. I don't think Surviving Christmas was given a chance. I saw like 4 commericals and heard a lot of bad reviews. I don't know if the public even had a chance to see it.

Even though this movie went to DVD fairly quickly, I'm still going to buy it. I liked it. I don't think very many people went to see it due to the bad reviews early on. I should've written a review after I saw it. I think a lot of people would like it.
