What is wrong with my croton? Whenever it start to sprout new leaves, it drops a couple, and it never seems to gain more leaves. It lost several from the bottom before I took it home from the office. At home it gets more light.
What happened with your croton? Is it happier at home? I have one I recently bought and it doesn't seem to be doing much of anything. I have read if they new leaves are all green then it is not getting enough light.
I live in Los Angeles where the air is pretty dry and I find that Crotons are prone to spider mite here. If the leaves look like they have white dust on the underside and if you look closely you can see webs then you should probably spray it. It's good to give the leaves a bath first to knock off most of the bugs. I reccommend using Safersoap for houseplants because it is mild and better for the enviornment.
