I will listen to country if I have to. I will listen to just about anything. But if I am by myself, it is old music mostly. I love 70s rock. While I am working, soft rock or classical. For fun, Barenaked Ladies or ABBA. I like OutKast too. I like smart rap music. I don't like the stuff that is too dirty.

I was a bigger fan of the 60s. I know it sounds weird. A 19 year old jock that is up to date in everything else loves 60s music. Barenaked Ladies are cool. I never listened to ABBA. Outkast is a great band. I like some of the dirty stuff, but the beat is the biggest factor in what I listen to. I don't care for screwed and chopped stuff. It sounds deflicted.

I have the Motown story collection. It is really good because it tells the story of Motown between songs. It is 2 disk. Great music. I am a huge Supremes fan. I have to watch the language. My son will try to sing it too. Not good!

Never listened to them. I think I heard one of their songs, I just can't remember which one. Any music that you listen to nowadays you pretty much have to watch the language. It doesn't bother me, but there are a lot of kids that don't need to hear it. The first time I ever cussed was in Charlie Daniel's song The Devil Went Down To Georgia. Mom told me I could sing it and I did, SOB and all <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> But music is just a small aspect of it. The way the country is going nowadays, I'd really hate to see it in another 50 years. No respect or manners in anyone today. What happened to courtesy?

Yeah, the country is getting bad. I try to keep my kids away from as much language as I can. Football season is hard because I have to put them in another room when we watch games. It gets ugly. But I can't understand people not respecting others in public. I know people that will say anything in public: GD, SOB, F this and that. When something is said about it, they get defensive. It is embarrassing to be around.

Sorry it's taken me so long to respond. In the process of helping my girlfriend move and I've been trying to get her house fixed up. It needs a look of work, but I will have it looking good by the time I am done. But yeah, you have to be careful with what you let your kids watch or listen to. TV has profanity everywhere, radio lets a lot of things slip through, and adults don't seem to understand that there are some things you just don't say around kids.

good luck with selling it. I am exhausted. I'm still not done. I still have some more trim work to do in the living room, plumbing, and I have to re-tile the ceiling. Maybe that will be about it besides a good cleaning. This girl better never say that I don't love her. All she has to do is look around.
