Been getting some serious vibes recently about the appearance--and sometimes rapid disappearance--of soul sisters in my life. I think sisters are almost always soul sisters; we've been together through many lifetimes and the better our relationship, the more successful we've been in helping one another.

Other women we've been close to, then lost touch with, may be souls not of major importance in this life. They stop in to say hello, fill a brief need, then return to their own dramas.

Either way, the closeness we share with other women is a gift that grows richer and sweeter as we grow older. Am I wrong in feeling it's even more potent in the Irish?

The Irish are well known for their open-heartedness. I'm sure that this accounts for some of the feelings you describe. Whether that indicates connections on other planes or at other times, I wish I could prove it, but even if we are only here together this once, it's a blessing to have a soul sister, or even a brother! I'm just hoping to meet up with those I love in the afterlife! I know I can't "prove" that exists either, but I live with the hope. Imagining for a moment that the pessimists are right, and there is nothing on the other side, shouldn't that be a case for even greater love and closeness in this life?

Your logic is flawless and much appreciated.
