I'm a HUGE fan of the equinoxes. I make May Day Wine around the spring equinox and try to wake up for dawn each May Day. Then at Autumn Equinox it's time to drink some although it's really best at the winter solstice.

I'm a lover of wine and love to be around grape harvesting. So for me, autumn equinox is about the harvesting of the grapes, celebrating what the earth has brought to life. Also, in New England, fall is full of gorgeous fall foliage so I love just driving around and soaking it up.

So for me it's about lots of good wine and fresh harvested vegetables, plus some I suppose "natural" meats like venison or turkey. It's about the feast of the harvest.

Its hard for me to celebrate outside my bedroom so i dont have any ideas or suggestions or anything of the sort. But i would like to comment anyway I think New Englands falls are the best, sadly i have never seen them besides pictures for I live in Nevada and its quite difficult for me to go there. Also your Lulu from ffx avator/icon is awesome!

I celebrate the fall equinox by starting a fire to warm my house. I live in Montana and usually by September we need some warmth in our house. We gather all the dead vines and twigs in our garden and burn them in our fireplace. It not only welcomes warmth, but the smell is wonderful. Anyone out there that doesn't have a fireplace can gather some leaves and twigs and burn it in a fire-proof bowl.

Happy fall!
