I've come across a new website that's great for mom's looking purchase and/or sell kids clothes. It's Kindercloset.com: A Kids' Clothing Exchange.

Now it appears to be rather new so they don't have a lot of items listed but I did find some neat stuff.

The best part about this site is that you don't have to bid and wait. Once you hit the "buy" button it's yours.

I know these ladies from another web site. They are super - I even helped them figure out a name for the site! Glad to see them up and running.

They are going to help me gather clothing for our new foster children coming this Fall.

Kitty they are going to be doing a relaunch of their site here in the near future. I was really excited about this site. It's such a fantastic idea!

I was also pleased by the fact that it's two women and not a large company.

Umm...Ms. Kitty you want some clothes? What sizes dear? I've managed to get rid of most of the summer stuff but I know I'll have quite a bit of winter stuff coming out of my little boys closet. I'll also probably have some of my older kids stuff too, just not as much.

If I had known this a month ago I could have clothed all of your foster kids and the kids in your neighborhood too for the whole winter in every size. I had saved everything I had been given over the last 10 years at my Dad's. The house was sold and he moved into an apt. so I had to get rid of all those clothes.

I'd be more than happy to help if I can.

Oh Cheryl!
It would help so VERY much! We are "newbies" at having foster children - though both myself and my hubby are trained in social work and youth in distress.

We have decided to welcome sibling groups into our home! That means we will get brothers and sisters of all ages at one time. So, clothing of all sizes, ages and sexes would be MOST appreciated. Our local Wal-Mart is donating some Rubbermaid containers and we are dividing the clothing by sex and size - pink containers and blue containers. (Cheesy, I know.)

We have also been hitting garage sales and yard sales for games, toys, riding toys and bikes. My husband is a "fix-it" man and I give 'em a good cleaning. We are storing everything in our garage and hope to intrigue the kiddies once they arrive.

Seriously, any clothing you could give us would be MOST wonderful. I have a UPS account number and would be happy to provide it so that you can ship to us for free!! Let me know!!

Kitty

P.S.: The neighborhood too, eh? Sorry to have missed THAT...LOL. Thank you!

That's wonderful that you are adopting siblings. I think it's so important for siblings to stay together. My kids fight like cats and dogs but they are also each other's best friends.

I'm glad you liked the site. I actually have quite a few things that I need to list.
