Hi there, oh also Suite101!! LOL, PLEASE! Use my recipe wherever it may benefit the most. There is also a recipe for homemade sunblock that I can send over if you should ever need it.

I was thinking about this thread today - there's an airshow nearby and there are record crowds there in the hot sun. Airshows are always notorious for lots of hot, dehydrated kids because they're on the tarmac all day and the parents don't want to spend the money on drinks. Hopefully they're giving away free water or something!

Goldeen I hope that all goes well at that airshow. I would hope that they are giving away water, even if it's only to the children.

We were at the ball park yesterday and it was sooooo HOT! I let the kids have one pop and then it was water only. Pop can make a kid sick to their tummy.

Kitty would you mind to share the recipe for Sunblock? I think if we put it in this discussion it would be a great way to encourage parents to use sunblock more often. I'll also put a mention in the article about the recipe being here too. <img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
