As we approach July 4th, I'd like to know

Where in the US have you seen:
The most memorable sunrise?
(mine would be Fort Jackson, South Carolina)

The most spectacular sunset?
(I'd vote for Ka'anapali Beach, Maui, Hawaii)

The best star-gazing?
(I'd say St. Cloud, Minnesota- watching the Northern Lights)

They always talk about the sunsets being beautiful on Key West in Florida, with all the parties and street magicians and such. But we were down there and I guess it was too commercial for me. My favorite sunset was on Cape Cod, Massachusetts, where it lasted an hour as the sun slowly set and all the colors glistened off the clouds. That was truly spectacular.
