Have we been sold a bill of goods by our mostly male medical doctors on what's good for us as pre-, post- and menopausal women?
What's going on in the medical profession? Many doctors have egg on their faces because of their prescribing hormones to all and sundry (women, that is.)
I guess we're not important enough for doctors to do their homework and research. It's been known for years, as shown in Prescription for Nutrtional Healing in 1997 that "Equine estrogen probably should not be used by women who are obese, who smoke cigarettes, or who suffer from high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or varicose veins."
Now, the papers are full of the exact same news reporting that a large study has been halted because of serious adverse effects with heart and blood clotting problems.
Seventeen million women in the US alone rely on Estrogen and Progestin in a specific formula to relieve flushing, heart problems, improve calcium absorption and prevent cancer. This now has been proven to be false treatment in many cases.
