I still have to read the wilflecken article. I was in Ashcaffenburg many times, near where I lived, which had a large mainly Yugoslav DP camp in what would become the American bases or Kasernes, and now German....

I have been thinking of becoming a snow bird. After this discourse on temperature (reversal ?) I am plotting a potential bird flight north instead of south.

I understanf Muir Inlet has ocean front property where Riggs glacier used to be?

Whatever may happen it definitely is warmer in Alaska then in New Hampshire or Massachusetts.
