O.k. I read your tutorial and tried to follow your instructions but I'm totally lost. I downloaded html compress 5 and advanced html optimizer. This is what I need to compress http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art24364.asp

I design these workouts on a program called fitness generator and it asks you if you need the code so you can just copy it into a website. The last one I did was longer than the one above and even though I tried to manually take out spaces etc. it wasn't loading at all which is why I decided to compress.

I'm confused about the two boxes you mentioned. When I open either program it's a blank page and menus at the top. You can select files then optimize but I don't see anything about destination files. When I hit compress it does something then I open the file and there is no code just the same as the link above without the pictures.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. If you think I should be using a different program please tell me. <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

HI,

Am I right in thinking that you are trying to remove the buy empty space that appears after your text (way to a leaner body.) and before the animations begin? I took a look at your webpage code and it looks compressed just fine. Your problem is caused by the <BR> code that is at the end of each line of code for your tables.

Here are some examples.

<TBODY><BR>
</TD><BR>
</TR><BR>

You need to remove these <BR> and the empty space will disappear.

The extra <BR> at the end of the table code is not caused by the compressor program. It is probably caused by the fitness generator program or some other process you have done before the compression.
