Crystal Palace striker Andy Johnson has again warned he may not be considered an England hopeful for too much longer as he is also qualified to play for World Cup rivals Poland.
Johnson's goal in the 2-2 draw at Southampton took his tally to nine for the season and made him the Premiership's top English marksman.
"My mum's dad is Polish so I have always got that possibility. But I don't think about it at the moment," he said.
"I'm proud of my Polish roots but I'm also proud of my English roots and until I get called up for either of them then we will have to wait and see.
"If Poland called me up tomorrow, it is something I would have to seriously consider because it's international football. There is no guarantee I am going to get called up by England."
