I know it's not classic, but it's bound to be someday, I'm sure of it! I did want to remind everyone that it will be premiering on the Wonderful World Of Disney this Sunday at 7pm, and continuing Monday and Tuesday at 8pm. Check your listings for your local channel.

My nephew and I share a love for Dinotopia, and he's completely wired to see this, as am I!

From TV Guide:
At a time when the expensive miniseries has become nearly as extinct as the dinosaur, Wonderful World of Disney mounts a lavish three-part fantasy about dinosaurs of many varieties who peacefully coexist with humans in a utopian society. Based on the books by James Gurney, the series (which continues over the next two nights) opens with brothers Karl and David Scott (Tyron Leitso, Wentworth Miller) surviving a plane crash, only to become stranded on a strange, uncharted island called Dinotopia. Mayor Waldo (Jim Carter) welcomes the “off-worlders,” but informs them that they can never leave---which disturbs Karl, but intrigues David. Marion: Katie Carr. Cyrus Crabb: David Thewlis.

Cast: Tyron Leitso, Wentworth Miller, Stuart Wilson, David Thewlis, Katie Carr, Jim Carter, Alice Krige, Colin Salmon, Hannah Yelland, Geraldine Chaplin

My 13 yr old son and I watched this and we both loved it. I'm bad about starting to watch a mini series and then forgetting about it later so I miss the ending. But not this one! Ds hasn't read the book but I think I may buy it for him to read over the summer.
When/if this comes out on dvd we may buy it to have in our collection. Good family flick. <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
