How do you greet your spouse at the beginning and end of the day?

My guy is just a live-in boyfriend of 7 years, but I suppose that's almost like a spouse Every day when he leaves for work (I work from home) he kisses me goodbye and I tell him to have a good day. When he comes home, I come to the door and kiss him hello, and we ask each other how our days have gone.

I guess we never say things like "I love you" or "I miss you" at these times. We used to in the old days, but now the kiss sort of says it all If for example he kisses me and then putters around a bit before leaving, he'll come back and re-kiss me again before he actually heads out.

This sounds very sweet. Israel leaves pretty early in the morning, but if I do wake up in time, I'll call him just to say "I love you" and "Have a good day." I can tell this perks him up a bit and it helps make my day go a little happier.

It definitely seems that those little back-and-forths are the things that form the relationship!

Beginning of the day, Ken's lucky to get a coherent mumble from me, he KNOWS I am not a morning person! But he always makes sure to send me off to work with a lunch, a kiss, and a smile. He's the stay at home spouse, and I'm the one that leaves for work each day. We aren't traditional (smile). We send a couple of emails back and forth throughout the day with goodies we want to share with each other, and I always come home to a warm, lingering hug. He lives in flannel shirts, so those are very snuggly hugs.

We have a nice, happy, comfy marriage!

Sounds good:) I'm trying to find a full time job so Israel will be at home when we have a baby. I've been on a few interviews, but nothing yet.
