I enjoyed reading about Amy Stewart's gardening experience. I remember thinking that I could just sprinkle seeds in a shady area with compacted earth and plants would just sprout. Of course, nothing grew. I learned a lot since that first garden I planted when I was ten years old. What first mistake did you make?
