hey everyone..........hello again i was just wondering.............i found a piercing place near by and my mom and I went to ask a few questions (how much experience, price, hygene ect..) and we found it much to our liking. Anywhoo.......they guy there (named Mike- very nice and helpful) said they always put rings in first to help heal ect.......but i didnt ask how long it would be untill i can change it. Could i come back in a week and they could change it for me? or could i change it myself? i just dont find the rings attractive (no offence to anyone <img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> ) but yeah...........how long?

I Would wait 6 to 8 weeks befor changing the ring the centre of you new piercing is still not healed and can close if the ring is removed as far as who can change it you piercer ( if good ) will offer to do it for you and show you the right way to do it but if you are comfertable enough you can do it yourself but always better to get the piercer to do it that way you know it is being done right and so he/she can have a look at it to see if it is healing right

You really want the piercing to be well established before you change the jewelry, with is recommended as being 2 to 3 months after it heals. Basically try and wait until your nose piercing is about 6 months old from when you first get it pierced before you swap the jewelry.
